Welcoming siblings of patients admitted to a neonatal ICU

A welcoming project carried out in the neonatal ICU of a teaching hospital, which focuses on caring for the newborn as a whole, as part of their family. By valuing the presence of a patient's sibling during the visit, family bonds and affections are rebuilt amid the insecurity of hospitalization. The multidisciplinary team embraces the project and the neonatal ICU opens its doors to siblings and the progress of humanization.
