The almighty God will never abandon those who call upon Him. We must acknowledge that the LORD practices loving-kindness, justice and righteousness on the earth. God is a covenant-keeping God and His covenant promises are full of glorious love, safety, protection, peace, and prosperity. Thus the book prepares the hearts of our readers with the essential prerequisite of 'hunger and thirst for knowing and trusting the name of the LORD'. A believer, who diligently leans on and confidently puts his trust in God in calamitous times of trouble, will be safe in His everlasting arms, as he watches God destroy his enemies.
