What do older people say about sexuality?

This book is the result of a study that sought to investigate the perception of the elderly about ageing and sexuality. The testimonies given here by the elderly talk about pleasure, love, desire and sexual practice. It is challenging to talk about this subject. We still need to move forward in order to deconstruct the myths and taboos that permeate the culture that desire dies with age. Socio-cultural and institutional barriers need to be overcome so that the elderly can live their sexuality to the full.
