What I can say about China's development

The People's Republic of China recorded new historic achievements in economic and social development during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020). China had set a gross domestic product (GDP) growth target of more than 6% in 2021 and presented a plan to promote innovation, green development and common prosperity for the next five years.The 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) is the first five-year period in which China embarks on a new project to build a modern socialist country in all respects. China's GDP has grown from less than 70 trillion yuan to more than 100 trillion yuan in the past five years, and more than 700 million people have been lifted out of poverty to meet the poverty reduction targets of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, 10 years ahead of schedule. This book presents the policies China has used to strengthen its development.
