When African literature rhymes with excellence

African literature has its authors, its historical background, its currents of thought, its debates, a true culture. Diversity is a wealth, let's cultivate it. We must show that the history of Africa is not limited to slavery and colonization. Therefore, African literature can be defined as a literature that has Africa as its main subject and that is carried by people in Africa or from Africa ensuring to have a story or a study in an African perspective anchored.Indeed, literature is first and foremost the domain of wonder, discovery and escape. Then, it is about questioning, about questioning the themes that are addressed. It leads us into reflection, it also instructs us on times, places, ways of living, even through a fiction... It takes us out of our home, forces us to look elsewhere. It opens our field of vision and our approach to others. And then, there is a poetic dimension in literature. In fact, literature is social, it is listening, hearing and understanding the other, thanks to beautiful pens that know what they are talking about.
