When I shall come again

The anthology is a chronicle of the lamentations of the masses whose second name is poverty; their suffering in the hands of a corrupt government, imperial deprivations and oppression in their own land. It proves, however, that even in the face of unbearable circumstances, purity, good conscience and fear of God would not permit the denial of others their due in justice. The pressure of life forces man to prefer to come back to this world as a harmless sun bird because he would in good conscience not hurt others.The book portrays the Poet as an ardent traditionalist who does not pretend about his African beliefs in the spirit, potency and capacity of the dead to overturn the woes of the living. This is effectively conveyed in his simple poetic language, employing effectively, literary devices in the dispatch of his message.

The poet holds a Master's degree in Law of Univ. of Abuja, Nigeria. A graduate of the Nigerian Law Sc. & the British Training College, Britain where he studied Journalism & Professional Writing. He was a chief magistrate with the Abuja Judiciary, Nigeria until 2015 when he voluntarily switched into private legal practice. He has 9 works in prints.
