When New Republics Go Online
Details
The purpose of this book is to examine how the governments in the Commonwealth of Independent States used the Internet to promote foreign investor relations and communicate with foreign investors at the earliest stages of the "online government" phenomenon in 2002. The study also researches the degree of effectiveness of government Web sites created for communication with foreign investors. The research suggests the developing area of investor relations on the Internet in post-Soviet republics in 2002 was underdeveloped and therefore ineffective.
