This study examines the development, regulations, and strengths of the U.S. gaming industry and its role in the legalization of gambling worldwide and compares it with Macau's ability to withstand the pressures and cope with crises during the Covid-19 pandemic, predicts who will lead the development of global gaming enterprises in the post-Covid-19 era, and examines whether U.S.-owned gaming enterprises in Macau should be removed.
