Issues range from geo-ethnic conflict to restrictive citizenship rights leading to political exclusion. The book is structured to respond to many conflict concerns in relation to democratic politics, interest accommodation, psychosocial tolerance, and justice, especially in the ethnically divided societies across sub-Saharan Africa. The book is designed to guide and help students of African politics navigate through the many unanswered questions around historical grievances and the politics of acrimony in the cited countries.
