Windowing Techniques in OFDM System: Study and Comparison Using Matlab

New Technologies and various new applications are emerging in the field of wireless in the last few years. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulation has been in existence for several decades. However in recent years the attention towards OFDM has grown rapidly in the field of wireless and wired communication systems because of its advantages. This book begins with a detail discussion on the evolution of OFDM. It then goes on detail about OFDM Communication system including its generation and reception, advantages, applications and major limitations. It provides an in-depth coverage of PAPR (Peak to average power) reduction techniques. This well organized text lays emphasis on Advance peak windowing technique and provides the comparison result between the different window techniques using Matlab simulation.
