With the improvement in the innovation, the researchers and technologists in the field of manufacturing are facing new and more challenges. Going with the advancement of mechanical industry, the need for the alloys materials having high hardness,toughness and force resistance are growing day by day.Technically advanced industries such as nuclear power reactors, aeronautics and automobile industry have been demanding elevated strength temperature resistant materials having high strength to weight ratio. The traditional machining processes,in spite of present technical advancements, are insufficient and poor to machine intricate shape sin rigid, die steel and elevated strength temperature resistant alloys. By keeping all the necessities into mind,a number of Non-traditional machining (NTM) processes have been developed.
