Wireless Reliable Embedded System for Patient Monitoring

This book focuses on the use of RF technology along with Wireless sensor network helps to find out different approaches to solve the problem for critically ill patients. Smart patient monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks focuses to make life of mainly diabetes patients happy. System expects that the work contributes towards the development of sugar management. A smart patient monitoring system can provide life and time cost savings for patients. It also reduces some bourdon on doctor too. As experts may not visit the patient frequently to monitor its health condition. The sensors used for demonstration of concept are general. The resistive type temperature and Pulse rate sensors show good sensitivity. The RF communication is noise free. RF and LPC2138provide low power platform. Advanced wireless patient monitoring systems will eventually become common in residential and hospital management because it is more efficient than the previous systems. The primary goal of this book is to explore the design of a reliable embedded system that will helpful for Patients as well as doctors. The lifetime of patient is increased through the WSNs and wireless communication.
