Wisdom's Way / Woodland Murder

A lorry driver is murdered, and three French students do mot manage to get home safe.

HMRC in the UK seek the help of the police, when they seek to stop a lorry at Wyken Industrial Estate. As the driver gets out of his cab, he is shot dead by a marksman quite some distance away, hiding in the trees. Although Matthew and his team are only there in a back-up roll, the operation as expected, is suddenly turned on its head and the Superintendent has to take charge. Whilst investigating this, news reaches him that three French exchange students did not return home from a recent fourteen day trip to the Westby area. How did they pass their time? Why did they not return to France? Where on earth could they be, and why were they spending most of their free time at The Lakeside Cafe? So much for a quiet August then!
