Wolliw Wrink

Wolliw Wrink is a children's picture book that inspires the imagination, encourages collective reflection, and promotes mental disobedience. Wolliw Wrink makes it possible to experience the book in different depths and so it remains a companion over a long period, with ever-new facets. At first glance, Wolliw Wrink is a birthday book meant to be read aloud and looked at, which can be personalized with messages. The child receives their own picture book. The person giving the gift focuses on the moment of giving to create a message for eternity in this book. In the further levels, the book encourages the child to talk about different topics. These include being a child and being an adult, life and death, loneliness and friendship, play and work, as well as being different (inclusion/exclusion). The depth and style remain in the hands of the reader. In this context it's worth mentioning, non-binary pronouns are used throughout the text. Thus, even the dimension of text comprehension stimulates thinking, and here perhaps especially the ones reading out loud. The topic of gender is also a question of being allowed to be different.

Schreiben, komponieren, fotografieren und vieles mehr Marco Boehm ist ein kreatives Allround-Talent. Wer die letzte Ausgabe unserer Zeitschrift gelesen hat, dem müsste der Name Marco Boehm bekannt vorkommen. Richtig, der Diplom-Pädagoge und Diagnostiker hat im April dieses Jahres sein erstes Buch veröffentlicht und so ist Horizont Atlantis der Buchtipp der Sommerausgabe geworden. Aber das ist längst noch nicht alles und für den 45-Jährigen auch nichts Neues: Marco Boehm schreibt schon lange. Kurzgeschichten, Gedichte, Songtexte und Musikrezensionen für Fachzeitschriften. Die Idee zu seinem Buch hatte er bereits vor über 20 Jahren, aus verschiedenen Romananfängen und -ideen ist nun ein Werk geworden. Das Schreiben ist für mich etwas Elementares, so der Allrounder. Und das bleibt nicht unbemerkt: Im letzten Jahr gehörte er wiederholt zu den Preisträgern der Bibliothek deutschsprachiger Gedichte, im März 2017 war er mit selbstkomponierten Stücken Finalist um den Reinhard-Mey-Sonderpreis im Rahmen der Henner-Krogh-Förderpreisverleihung.
