Women artists throughout History

Seeking to promote knowledge and provoke discussion/reflections regarding the female production in the history of art, this research and undergraduate experience report, perceives how art in schools is restricted to elements that do not promote discussions about social problems and lack of discussions about the role of the female artist, who is only mentioned in modernity and contemporaneity (this when studied). Art has contributed to the naturalization of the female body as an object, and even with the rupture in modern art it continued to be used as a nude representation of the male gaze. This contribution of art in the construction of the feminine standard can be seen up to the contemporaneity, the objectification of women and even their role in society, full of rules to be followed.
