Women Empowerment Through Microfinance: An Empirical Study on Ampara District of Sri Lanka Neither women nor men can flourish without one another and there is no sustainable path to development, poverty reduction and eradication of hunger without gender equality.Gender equality is not a 'women's issue' but affects both women and men, as it is rooted in the relationship between the two. Both women and men have to change their ways of working, attitudes and social norms, to ensure both are equal, empowered and dignified.

El Dr. Vidura Perera obtuvo su licenciatura y doctorado en gestión financiera por la Universidad de Jaffna en 2013-201, pasó 3 años en la facultad de gestión de la misma universidad en el componente de investigación. El Dr. Vidura ha sido galardonado con la medalla de oro al Mejor Colaborador de la Sociedad de Jaffna desde 2016 en la sociedad Nallur y habla con fluidez principalmente 4 idiomas.
