Women Entrepreneurs in India

The few earlier women entrepreneurial studies in India are largely either sociological or Psychological in nature and have paid relatively less attention to the appraisal of economic performance of the women entrepreneurs. In the context of economic planning for rapid industrialization of the Country and State of Andhra Pradesh, women entrepreneurial studies with emphasis on economic and related aspects assume great importance not only as academic exercises but also for policy formulation.
