This book talks about the role and position of women in Indian context over the years. The evolvement of women in different areas of life and society is commendable but no less than a challenge. She has been through social, political and ideological challenges over the times to remember. This book has highlighted the phases through the modern women has evolved and reached its stature today. Ms. N. Shradha Varma has been working as Assistant Professor of Economics in University of Delhi. She has teaching experience of around 12 years, teaching subjects like Mathematical Methods for Economics, Statistics, Econometrics etc. Presented 30 papers at international forums, written 2 books, served as Keynote speaker, resource persons in FDPs.
