Women in Higher Education in India: Participation and Determinants

This work is dedicated to those women who are promoting women education particularly in backward areas in India. This book highlights the factors of women education and their determinants in rural India through a case study. It tries to find out the truth of gender bias in education, their dependency as well as contemporary trends and participation of women in education and decision-making tendency under feminist approach. This book should be helpful for academicians, researchers, policy maker as well as women herself for empowering women.

Les auteurs ont obtenu un M.Sc en géographie de l'Université de Vidyasagar en 2015. Ils ont obtenu le titre de Junior Research Fellow de l'University Grant Commission en 2015. Ils poursuivent maintenant une recherche doctorale en spécialisation avec la géographie urbaine et la géographie sociale. Leurs domaines couvrent également l'économie tribale, l'autonomisation des femmes et les questions urbaines.
