WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGICAL AND NON-TECHNOLOGICAL ENTERPRISES
Details
The paths that women entrepreneurs tread in creating and growing their businesses vary. This book made use of empirical data obtained from 210 micro and small scale enterprises owned by women. The study employed structured questionnaire and the Raosoft sample size calculator based on the normal distribution statistical method. Secondary data were also used. Descriptive and inferential statistics were employed for data analysis. The study revealed a divergence in knowledge mechanism and motivational factors of technology-based and service based entrepreneurs while convergence exists in control parameters for performance. Recommendations were made towards boosting the knowledge systems and growth of the women entrepreneurs especially in technological ventures.
