Women's bodies in contemporary art

This book brings reflections on some works of artists who address the issue of women's bodies at different moments in the history of art, taking as a common thread contemporary art as an educational vehicle to combat the degradation of the image of women, the role of women's bodies in the history of art until today, the situation in which these bodies are involved, how they are shown and how they are camouflaged.

Teacher of Basic, Technical and Technological Education at the Federal Institute of Maranhão, Master in Art, Specialist in Policies of Racial Equality and in Teaching in Higher Education, graduated in Fine Arts and Fashion Design, researches mainly Contemporary Art and Fashion Education for professional training of poor communities.
