Women Welfare Programmes

India is the welfare state. The aim of any welfare state is to promote the welfare to as man people as possible because a welfare state especially in democratic country cannot service without getting the support from its people. This Book deals with the socioeconomic status of women, the investigator wants to study the implementation of women welfare schemes through aspects like awareness, interest, participation and involvement among women respondents from Lakkavarapu Kota Mandal of Vizianagarma District of Andhra Pradesh, India in various women welfare programmes and schemes. The Book concludes with a discussion of selected seven practical aspects,i.e. constitutional awareness, awareness on programmes , interest of women, participation , involvement, awareness about NGO s and suggestions.
