The discovery of various tombs provided tangible examples demonstrating the advanced technical prowess of Egyptian carpenters and wood work craftsmen.Discovered furniture pieces, tools and their depictions in various wall paintings in tombs, statuary and reliefs expanded and enhanced our knowledge of the ancient Egyptian carpentry craft and its development. Ancient Egyptian construction techniques of different wooden objects clearly changed depending on its use, kind of wood used, its importance, durability and users...etc..Carpentry and wood working tools used in ancient Egypt are known through discovered tools from various sites in Egypt, manuscripts, depictions and wall inscriptions which provided tangible examples demonstrating the advanced technical prowess of Egyptian carpenters and wood work craftsmen.
