Wordsworth & Ecocriticism: A Green Reading

Along with the technological advances, environmental issues have become heated topics all around the globe. Accordingly, the need to live a harmonious life is a call to bridge the gaps between human beings and Nature. By returning to Romanticism and examining Wordsworth's poems we can witness the purpose behind Wordsworth's concern with Nature. With this issue in mind, the following book offers a comprehensive analysis of some selected poems of William Wordsworth in the light of Ecocriticism. The author provides the readers with detailed commentaries on the green reading of the chosen poems in an effort to shed light on the ecological contexts of the poems that pertain to current ecological problems.

Elmira Bazregarzadeh is a PhD student of English Language and Literature at Islamic Azad University, Tabriz Branch. She got her BA from Shiraz University in 2012 and received her MA from Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University in 2014. She is a university lecturer & an EFL instructor; and has been teaching English at Iran Language Institute since 2011.
