Work Life Balance on Disability Employees

The profession of social work provides the unique opportunity of working with people and the compassion of social workers coupled with competence will make them successful in their career. Social work is important as science and technology and it can contribute to the peace and prosperity of society by bridging human minds. Therefore, social work students should be proud of their profession. Skill development is one of the vital requirements in persons with disabilities in their progress towards independence. Social adjustments among persons with disabilities place a vital role in their life. Social adjustment is an effort made by an individual to cope with the standards, values, and needs of a society in order to be accepted. It can be defined as a psychological process. It involves coping with the new standard and value. In the technical language of psychology "getting along with the members of society as best one can" is called an adjustment. The main objective of the study is to find out the level of social adjustment among persons with disabilities working in private organizations in Coimbatore. The researcher used a descriptive research design for the study.
