Workspace Management - An FM Discipline?

This paper investigates the nature of such disciplines as Facility Management (FM) and Workspace Management (WSM) and explores their interrelation with the aim of establishing whether there are any functional overlaps. The purpose of this paper is twofold. Firstly, it was designed to identify whether WSM can be considered as an FM discipline. Secondly, the author intended to develop WSM guidelines to supplement GEFMA guidelines on WSM activities.

Jana Kolpakova (1993, Tallinn, Estonia) having graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Free University of Berlin in 2015, decided to continue pursuing her education goals by studying Facility Management at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Berlin.
