Writing is a medium of human communication that represents language and emotion through the inscription or recording of signs and symbols. Good writing skills are essential for effective communication. On the basis of the received sound we try to spell out the word. Spelling is the important element of English language. So the learner must have good knowledge of spellings as for as his/her expression of ideas is concerned. Only proper punctuation gives proper meaning. Meanings of the written sentences come out clear if punctuation marks are used in proper way. As the world goes on busy, people are hard pressed for time to decipher the lengthy information. So, transference of information by means of diagrams, charts etc., saves one's time. It is a friendly mode of communication helping one to understand and analyse the information.
