Beat 100.9 broadcasts electronica, dance music, and house music. It was the only Dance Contemporary radio station in Mexico, with most of its listeners in Mexico City and Cuernavaca, up until 2008 when NRM launhed a sister station in Monterrey. Radio is the transmission of signals by modulation of electromagnetic waves with frequencies below those of visible light.
