Catherine, Sara and Nick start by investigating the body of a female prison inmate nicknamed "Baby Girl" found tied to the underside of a bus. Their first thought is that she died while attempting to escape from the jail. During the autopsy, it is revealed that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and that the wounds from the bus ride were postmortem. Toward the back of the bus, remnants of seminal fluid are found. During the investigation, they also learn that Baby Girl was pregnant. From there, they talk to the inmate's previous cell partner Juanita and learn she was in love with her cell mate, and Sara notices that each woman had part of a broken-heart tattoo.
