High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Crown Princess Yasmine Pahlavi (born Etemad-Amini, 26 June 1968) is the wife of Reza Pahlavi, born crown prince to the throne of Iran. Had there not been for the Islamic revolution in Iran, she would be Shahbanou (Empress) and would be styled Her Imperial Majesty. However, she does not use nor has she claimed this style or title. Yasmine Etemad Amini was born in Pars Hospital in Tehran, Iran on July 26, 1968. She attended the private Tehran Community School in Tehran until the rising tensions in the late 1970s forced her family to leave Iran permanently. They settled in the San Francisco area in California where she attended and matriculated Notre Dame High School. She is a graduate of The George Washington University, obtaining a B.A. in Political Science, and Doctorate in Jurisprudence from The George Washington University Law School. She is a member of the Maryland Bar Association. She worked for ten years as a staff attorney for Children's Law Center in Washington, DC, representing the rights of at-risk youth.
