Yehuda Harel (Hebrew: , born 11 November 1934) is a former Israeli politician who served as a member of the Knesset for The Third Way between 1996 and 1999. Born in Berlin in 1934, Harel's family made aliyah to Mandate Palestine the following year. He studied philosophy and history at Tel Aviv University, gaining a BA. A former secretary of the Mahanaot Olim youth movement, he joined kibbutz Menara, where he became secretary. He also served as secretary of the Committee of Golan Settlements, helped found 33 settlements in the Golan Heights, and was involved in the activities protesting against a potential withdrawal from the heights. A former personal aide to Yitzhak Rabin, Harel was a founder member of the Third Way party in 1996, and was elected to the Knesset on its list that year. He served as the party's parliamentary group chairman, and was placed third on the party's list for the 1999 elections. However, the party failed to cross the electoral threshold and Harel lost his seat.
