Young, female, diagnosed with BPS - what now?

A diagnosed borderline personality disorder and the concept of resilience promotion: How can these two be linked? Social workers are indispensable professionals in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. This thesis therefore develops a concrete, practical and innovative concept for how social workers can promote resilience in girls diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. It attempts to unravel both the complexity of mental illness and the complexity of resilience and present them in a handy model that can be used in everyday psychiatric practice. This enables social workers to demonstrate their professional expertise in the field of health resilience promotion.
