Youth empowerment in Brazil

The study seeks to outline portraits of youth in Brazil from the perspective of political socialisation and empowerment. To this end, it analyses the influence of variables such as social capital, family, school and the media in the context of the 21st century, in the process of maturing democracy in the country. This is an opportunity for researchers and managers to see political phenomena addressed in their youthful expression. It is therefore an original proposal that youth must be empowered to strengthen and renew Brazil's political future. In short, the contributions of this study are innovative and contribute both to ensuring the continuity of the debate and to constructing new perspectives on young people. Perspectives capable of overcoming the disenchantment of youth with society and of society with youth.
