This book seeks to explain and provide an elegantphonological analysis of complex consonants phonemesin Zezuru a dialect of Shona. Specifically, this isan explanation of Zezuru segmental phonology, withparticular emphasis complex consonants. True,segmental phonology is an explication of vowels andconsonants of any given language. Typically, Bantustudies have segmented consonants into simplex andcomplex phonemes. It is the intention of this studyto provide a detailed identification of complexsounds of Zezuru.
