Zombie! vs. Mardi Gras (1999) is an independently-produced comedy horror film directed by Karl DeMolay, Will Frank and Mike Lyddon.The plot involves a deranged paraplegic occultist and a Sumerian Goddess who create a spell that raises Zombie! (spelled with an exclamation point) from his grave. Zombie! goes on a killing spree in New Orleans during the Mardi Gras festivities. A trio of filmmakers get word of this and try to capture Zombie! on film. An overweight ninja and Galileo, newly released from purgatory, also chase Zombie! through New Orleans'' crowded streets. Throughout the film are comedy sketches and sight gags that are not related to the plot, including numerous shots of bare-breasted ladies flashing the Mardi Gras crowds.
