Dr. Aisha Akbar is currently Associate processor and Head of department of Social Sciences in Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad (Pakistan). Prior to the present appointment she worked in Allama Iqbal Open University where she held different positions in the department of Education Planning and management for about twenty years. She has a Masters degree in English Literature, Masters degree in Education Planning and Management in which she was awarded a gold Medal. She also has an MBA degree. Her M. Phil and Ph.D are in Teachers Education. She has written more than 40 units for different courses offered by Allama Iqbal Open University. She is also the author of a number of research papers. She has organized a number of workshops for different educational issues. She is currently supervising 5 Ph.D. and 9 MS research scholars from different universities.
