Zontanoi Nekroi (Living Dead) is the first Battle Rap group in Greece, formed in 1997. The group is very famous in Greece. The members are: Taki Tsan, Midenistis, Kataxthonios, Xarmanis & Ypoxthonios.At a live of the hip hop group TXC (Terror X Crew), in 1997 at Camel, something happened and cops took everybody that in the concert (even TXC) at the police station of Peiraias. In this incident was the brother of DJ ALX, Panagiwtis Stravalexis and Panos Bougas (Midenistis), who was also a rapper, and they decidd to form up a group. They were staying close and hanged together. Midenistis had his own crew but he realized that the others weren''t able to make good enough rap and he disbanded them. Then Taki Tsan and Midenistis started alone as GLD Gate of the Living Dead but they soon understand that the name was too childish. So they tried to find something in Greek, so they changed it to Zontanoi Nekroi. Takis had a friend Petralwna named Billy, also famous as Xarmanis, now leaving in Cyprus.
