A rescued dog turns out to be a heroe as well as a villain, but whose fault is this? His master's? A sort of Cruella's living with them? Or-and the community? Yet, the mixed Border collie senses potential danger to his master! Are humans cruel by having this type of dogs living in a city? From multiple points of view the book depicts a dog's errands for 16 years to enable his master to see much more than what he was able before he came into his life as a street puppy.

Héctor Pantoja-Ayala thought architecture for more than twenty years in Mexico City after he was awarded the Master of Architecture from McGill University, Canada (1989). Students' delight and struggles of their educational experience motivated him to pursue a PhD in Education from the Institute of Education, University of London (2014).
